Budget: "Lower taxes, more investment, and higher wages to drive development." Forza Italia's recipe.

Maurizio Casasco
Forza Italia's economic strategy for next year's budget law focuses on lowering taxes for businesses and families, encouraging investment and higher wages, but without the left's flawed strategy, which would penalize workers. He explained this to Affaritaliani. Maurizio Casasco, Forza Italia's economic director . "The budget must include a reduction in the personal income tax rate from 35% to 33%, up to €60,000 gross per year, which costs around €4 billion. This is Forza Italia's flagship measure. The middle class has shouldered the bulk of the tax revenue, and it's time they received the attention they deserve."
The Forza Italia representative then added: "On the subject of the incentive-based corporate income tax, I spoke with Deputy Minister of Economy Leo a month ago and completely agreed with the latest decree, which greatly simplifies what was done last year. A company's hiring of staff is simply the consequence of increased investment and greater confidence in the businesses themselves . This confidence comes from government stability and also from measures that reward investment, both in goods and in research and development, which represent the right basis for increased employment. Investments should not be made only by businesses; the state must also consider investment, just like businesses, as a driving force for the production system."
"We also need to review the tax reduction fund, established in 2014 and revised in 2022, to consider not only the funds deriving from tax evasion recovery, but also those deriving from the decline in tax evasion, increased thanks to the tax agreement, the voluntary disclosure of tax returns, and the increase in employment. The reduction in tax evasion, while being considered permanent, along with the increase in tax revenues, must be primarily directed towards tax reduction, always in accordance with the concept of tax reduction as a lever for the country's development ," adds Casasco.
Finally, as requested by Forza Italia, the INPS social security database platform must be activated as soon as possible, similar to the existing one for the pension system. By activating this system, streamlining spending, and without cutting services, €10 billion can be recovered for tax cuts. Regarding wages, we are preparing a proposal to raise the minimum wage, as Deputy Prime Minister Tajani has repeatedly explained. Furthermore , we will fight for higher welfare levels, as well as for tax exemptions for overtime and performance bonuses, which must be exclusively the employer's choice . Furthermore, tax exemptions for contract renewals are also needed, with a bill of which I am the first signatory," concludes Forza Italia's economics director, Casasco.
